Spain after a clear victory first in the German group

Madrid (AP) – Spain has taken the lead in the German Football Nations League group thanks to a convincing performance against Ukraine.

Three days after the 1-1 draw against the German team, the former world champion defeated the team of former European footballer Andrej Shevchenko 4-0 (3-0) in Madrid. With four points, the Iberians are in first, one point ahead of Ukraine, which won 2-1 against Switzerland at the start. With two points, the German team follows in third place. On the third day of play, Spain will host Switzerland on October 10, while Germany will be challenged in Ukraine at the same time.

Captain Sergio Ramos gave the Spaniards a 2-0 lead with a penalty kick (3rd) and a header (32nd). The only 17-year-old Ansu Fati of FC Barcelona rose to 3-0 (32nd).
