Frankfurt / Main (dpa) – The Frankfurt defender, Makoto Hasebe, has a simple recipe for success for his great fitness in old age as a footballer.
“I sleep a lot, at least eight hours a day. I relax in the bathtub in the evenings, eat healthy,” the Eintracht professional revealed in an interview with “Sportbuzzer”. Hasebe, who turns 37 in January, is currently the oldest Bundesliga pro. Another reason for this is his attitude. “The Japanese are very disciplined, and that also applies to top athletes. We are completely focused on the sport and have the right mentality,” said Hasebe.
