Three people, including a one-year-old child, were killed in a head-on collision between two cars in Rhineland-Palatinate.
According to previous knowledge, the car of a 28-year-old motorist skidded on a district road near Weisenheim am Berg, police and public prosecutor announced last weekend. The car collided head-on into an oncoming car on Saturday evening. The 31-year-old driver, her one-year-old son and the 27-year-old passenger were killed at the scene of the accident, according to the police. A baby who was tied up in a child seat was slightly injured, he said.
The driver and passenger of the other car were also reportedly injured and taken to a hospital for further investigation. The investigation into the cause of the accident was therefore continued.
