Prague (AP) – Tennis player Sabine Lisicki has celebrated her first win at an official tournament since November 2018. The long-injured Berliner won the gravel event in Prague against Briton Samantha Murray Sharan 6: 3, 6: 4.
The lower tier 125k series tournament will be played with players not currently participating in the US Open in New York. Lisicki was absent for a long time due to many injuries and the disease of mononucleosis and is currently no longer on the world ranking. In 2019 she failed to qualify in tournaments several times. In 2013 she was in the final at Wimbledon.
