2nd Bundesliga

Osnabrück works its way up in the 2nd division. Thanks to a furious performance in Regensburg, Lower Saxony now even dreams of leading the table.

On the day of the away team, VfL Osnabrück continued its highlights in the 2nd Bundesliga, taking second place for at least one night. The still unbeaten Niedersachsen won 4: 2 (2: 1) at Jahn Regensburg and with 13 points only has Hamburger SV with ex-VfL coach Daniel Thioune.

Meanwhile, relegated SC Paderborn, who started with two defeats, continued its upward trend impressively and climbed to fourth place with a clear 4-0 (3-0) in Darmstadt 98. Like Osnabrück, East Westphalia could have a place on Monday losses if Holstein Kiel wins at the end of HSV.

The second Hamburg club, FC St. Pauli, slipped to the penultimate place with a home defeat of 0: 3 (0: 1) against Karlsruher SC. KSC is now level with Nürnberg and St. Pauli (7 each) thanks to the better goal difference in 15th place.
