According to Corriere dello Sport, Italian first division AC Florence would have offered 25 million euros to striker Krzysztof Piatek of Bundesliga club Hertha BSC. As the newspaper reports, the Berliners must not be averse to letting go of the 25-year-old, but are demanding a transfer fee of 30 million euros from the Fiorentina, where ex-Bayern star Franck Ribery is under contract.
Piatek had only moved from AC Milan to the capital in January and his contract with Hertha will run until 2025. In addition to his one-year contract in Milan, the Pole already played for CFC Genoa in Serie A. In Genoa, Piatek trained under current Florence coach Giuseppe Iachini.
